guys i know im new but need help im looking for front peg loweing set for my 06. i have been on a harley shovel head for 3 years now whated somethin to chill with my sport bike riders so i got the bussa now i need to lower the pegs a little i an a tall guy 6'5 just cant seem to find any site about the subject .

I had a set on my 2007 and just ordered a set for my new 2008, joe is a terriffic guy and the set he sells is sweet and priced right, heli bars as well on both the ride is much better

I'm 6' 3" and did the buel peg mod. I have no complaints.

However...

Some have had minor issues with the kickstand and their foot under the shifter. There is a couple cures for that. What the buel peg does is move you foot down and outwards. Cause of this you need ot adjust your shifter where it is also inconvient to get your foot under it. Common cure is to add some type of rubber boot to extend the peg on the shifter out so you can get your foot under it easier. Size 12 shoe/boot here and can get my foot under it just fine without changing/altering the shifter. Just took some getting use to.

Noticable difference after a raide between the stock and buel. TLR pegs lowers your foot some and is also popular.

Some after market rearsets also will give the same kickstand problem if you adjust them downwards for comfort.

I did the Buell peg mod as well and I love it. It doesn't seem like much but it makes a big difference. Took me a few tries to get the shifter just right, but it's a really great mod.
