lowering a 2011

i just bought a 2011, i was told i can lower just the rear 2" and i wouldnt have to mod the kickstand and it would be pretty level.. can anyone vouch for this and any pics? thanks

I had my kick stand heated then bent outwards(stock stand), no problems so far.

thanks for the reply! your is lowered 2 i take it!? looks good... i dont think i want to go for the slammed look but it does sure look good!!

love the slammed look, not sure what the top one is lowered but the other i believe is 2 in the rear and 1 up front

Try Soupy Adjustable Lowering Links & Kickstand , That way you can raise & lower anytime and adjust the kickstand as you need to .

Mine is about 1.5 in the rear and 1 in the front. I did grind my kick stand so that it goes a little far forward.

I never touched the kickstand on my Gen I lowered 1 1/2 F 2 Rear, but i had to be very careful. The bike was almost straight up.

My 08 is lowered 1.5in with Vortex links in the back and lowered about 1in in the front with an Epic top clamp and the bike still leans over plenty
