Lowering forks for drag racing

How do those work to lower the front? Why not get an upper triple tree that lets the forks slide up thru the clamp and lower it that way.

$150-$200 and you can send your legs out to get internally lowered which is not the cheapest, but its the correct way to do it. An upper tree costs about that much, but you wont be bottoming out ever. These inserts seem to be the way to go if its just exactly how any of the sponsors would do what i mentioned above to your fork legs.

these change the height of the fork internally,(shorter spacer then stock) thus no strap and no triple needed...and will not compress the spring...so the spring rate remains and thus so should the travel be the same...you can call Ryan Schnitz and ask him...he will tell ya

I would never cut the fork leg itself cause then youd have to cut the spring to match and you open up a whole can of worms that way
