Lowering strap

I know this has been talked about before but I have a short memory. So please bear with me. After I install the front lowering strap can I leave it installed all the time or should I remove it when I wont be racing it for a while. If it is left a little loose and the slack at the top is tied out of the way is this OK.

Thanks, thats what I thought and had hoped. I loosened the strap with out a load (my big a$$) on the bike and then Velcroed the end to the right side of the upper tree. So the suspension still has full travel. And when I get to the track Friday night with Lady Ice, N2050, Monti and a few others all I need to do is tighten up on the strap and get ready to be embarrassed by experienced riders on much slower bikes. However, I'm patient. I'll learn just how hard I can launch while still keeping it down and not spinning to much. Then once I figure that out I think I'll at least be some good competition for the other bikes. I think my bikes pretty strong. At least I can pull away from all of the other Busa's I have ran out on the back roads so far.

Again,
Thanks,
David

Looking forward to your results. It's a humbling experience, believe me. The launch is eveything, and launching hard is far more difficult than most people can imagine......

i will intstall it at home ride to the track, then take it off when we leave the track. then we go act a fool...... lol
