M4 GP19 exhaust without tune

Just order the GP19 full system, and only for the simple reason id like to hear the bike over the wind at 80+ lol. That and slipons are entirely too expensive for this bike. Question is, how do the gen 3’s do with a full system on factory map? Ive read they run rich factory as it is, also read they are able to compensate a lot better than gen 2. But other than those 2 instances, i cant find any info. I can have it flashed, but if i can preserve the factory warranty by keeping my stock system in the garage to swap out then id like to keep the software unomolested.

You’ll be fine in flashed. They run lean stock, but nothing crazy unless all you do is make 4-5-6 gear pulls.


I ram my M4 Tech 1 system for 700+ miles before the flash was available with no issues

I also was wondering the same thing. I'm about to order my M4 exhaust and would like to keep my warranty. I'm wondering if I can buy a new ecm and flash the one I have.

I’m about to install my Maxxecu and plan on selling my
PCM and BT handheld once it’s on the bike. I spoke with a few people who understand significsntly
More about these bikes electronically than I do and they said they don’t see why it wouldn’t work just fine.
