Well the temp was 41 today with a light mist/drizzle most of the day, but the Busa needs some miles. My local pro shop won't but the bike up on the dyno to install and map the new pipes until it has at least seen it's first service. So out we went. Put 100 miles on her riding 2 up, roads wet most of the day, a couple of brief showers, but mostly just a mist. Anyways, I was very impressed. Of course I was easy off the clutch, and kept her pretty much upright in the corners, but she felt much better on the wet roads than my gsxr 750 ever did. Yes, it was cold, yes it was wet, but I enjoyed every mile of the ride.
But here's the question, I have the Shoei rf1000 busa helmet for myself, and an older rf600 for my wife, and they fogged up all day. I even tried venting, but with the cold and the damp, it just fogged making it difficult to see at times.
So, do any of you fellow riders have some magic solution to keep the sheilds clean and clear. I sprayed some eyeglass anti-fog stuff from Wal-Marts on it, but that didn't seem to help. Thanks for any help
