Manuel Fan Switch

Install a  switch from radioshack with two prongs. Put it somewhere on your dash.

Next is the veiw from under the dash.

Run a wire from the switch to the black ground wire (not the blue one) and use a quick splice connector.

Run a second wire from the swith to a good ground. I used a bolt on the left side of the frame.

Now your done. The fan works without the bike running. Don't leave it on to long or you will drain the battery. So know if your stuck in traffic you can useyour fan to stay ahead of the heat.

Wow, I felt good about my mod, now I have to go back to the parts store. My wife is gonna kill me.

Yes your wiring is good.. I just wanted led's to show when my fan is on the other switch is for the low beam, I run high beam only in the daytime.. then there is the gear indicator that I flush mounted.. as far as the led's its a simple install basically the same as you did with you fan switch only its the indicator lite..

ps all the parts came from radio shack them are 10amp micro switches.. just pic leds that are to your liking..
