Maps???

SO i put a Muzzy full system on last year as well as a PC3 usb. I never had it tuned. I loaded the micron map in it from the DJ website and it seems to run fine. I tried all there maps and this one worked the best. I am happy with the performance. is it necessary to get a custom map made? am I going to due damage to the motor by not having one?

last i check they didnt offer one for a 01 Busa with a full muzzy system.

update i just went onto DJ website. I guess the 01 got hosed. there are a ton of maps for the 02 and up and just 7 for the 01.

You already spent the money on the device to have it tuned why not spend the extra to have it mapped properly?

Get it custom tuned.

Ride it like it is if you like it. Then after you get used to and want a little more, get a custom tune. I bet it would feel like a different bike again.....

It wont hurt it. If you continue to mod it, then I would suggest getting a custom map.

I've been runing a map someone made for me for the mods I have. (off computer) But I want to get a custom tune done soon. There was someone on a different thread here that said he just got a custom map (I think he said from Smithers Customs ??) and he gained 12 hp, THAT'S ALOT !!!!! Makes you think ??

custom tunning will fine tune everything. But your ok without it
