Marathon #12 in the books

Manchester (NH) City Marathon
had not trained at all. have not run more than 15 in two months
Ran with a buddy, who imploded mentally and it got HOT 76f
So I stayed with her
4:09 Worst time for me in a marathon EVER but had a blast with a buddy, What else matter?

I used to walk marathons with everything I owned on my back....sure am glad those days are behind me...

That’s awesome buddy! My wife finished her 1st marathon a few weeks back. It was the Marine Corps Marathon and was virtual ( so no aide stations or assistance ) but finished it. She was beat. I’m like @Bumblebee , walked the distance in full battle rattle for years. Great job

Congrats! Completing any marathon is a tremendous accomplishment, let alone #12. 4 hours is still much better than average..
