Went to the dealer (Yeah I know, but I had to) & asked if they had any stickies with better life than the 208's (I got 2.5 K outta the rear)
Like the tire, just didn't last long enough!
Service dude said Maxon sport tires.
I said arent they made by Cheng Shin (chinees for cheep shid!)
He said yea but they are a different division and are much better quality.
I said, "The only experience I've had with a Maxon was a dual purpose (Street/dirt) on a big 2 stroke (IT490) that SUKED AZZ in the dirt." (The tire, not the bike)
He said a guy here (at the dealer) owns a Busa, rides agressivly, and has had them on even after a trip to Louisiana & back (I'm in AZ). And they are much more inexpensive (read Cheeper) than the 208's.
Usually price never before entered into the tire equation with me but if I'm gonna be replacing them every 3 months it becomes a factor.
I still need sticky tho!
Any one out there experience these meats?
