MaxxEcu Staged injection questions

On my current standalone
Staged injection I set the parameters to turn them on
I used 6k RPM Switching point, Not switching off primarys
so when I hit 6k the secondaries start spraying and Primarys keep spraying
I am confused with some of the maxxEcu staged settings

First setting "When primarys max out then the secondaries start"
Second Setting Manual control of secondary injectors (extra fuel table 1) So secondaries spray all the time based off Secondary table
Third Setting Primary/secondary injector changeover (extra fuel table 1)

any one have any experience ?

ive used both methods, currently using auto transition, as primaries get to 85-90% duty, secondaries start coming in.

the table option think of the ecu injector split table, table at 50% at X psi of boost and RPM means uppers do 50% of the total fuel load.

I have never yet been close to maxing the primaries . Megasquirt turned on secondaries at rpm I set. And split the fuel.
