Hello all, I am new to the Forum and I have a 99 Busa. I rescued it 4 years ago from an owner who was neglecting it. I live in Arizona and have been out to Deals Gap twice with it and out on the East Coast a few times with it. I have done plenty of mods to it like an 06 tank and fuel pump to get rid of the external pump, I added 06 controls to give me hazard lights and flash to pass switch, I have forks from an 03, and a new subframe because the old 99 aluminum subframe broke (fat girls at bike week 08 to blame). I just added fairings from ebay via Hong Kong to it last week and had a friend of mine paint the tank to match. I have a chrome Trac Dynamics 240 kit with PM Domino wheels and Pirelli Diablos. I also have a bunch of aftermarket chrome parts on it. I have a Power Commander, Small air box mod, and have removed the PAIR valve system. I just upgraded to a 43 tooth sprocket (sucks) and am thinking about going down to about 41 instead. I do all of my own work, but plan on taking it in and getting the engine checked out (valves, timing chain, etc.). I plan on adding 08 gauges to it, but I want to find the 220 overlays for the 08 gauges first. I am happy to be a part of the family and hope I can offer some help to you and gain some knowledge as well.
