I purchased this scavenge pump a couple of months ago after an engine tear down. I noticed heavy carbon deposits "mushrooming" on the back of my intake valves. My turbo sits about an inch higher then the oil level. I believe the high volume oil pump, quick stopping, leaning to one side, and some over filling of oil, all aided to oil entering the throttle bodies. Any how a big mess and a long clean up. After some research I found this pump made by MKR Mikael Karlsson Racing, I purchased it thru a vendor Pace Motorsports, they are both out of Australia. They have a patent for this design. I am very pleased with the way it performs. I can now run the bike on the side stand, rear stand, leaning in, etc., etc., etc.,
I was told that it does require a sump. I manufactured it out of some aluminum stock and some fittings with a vent to the crankcase.
From the manufacturer: "They must be used with a "sump" under the turbo.."
"You can only install a check valve on the pressure side to the turbo"
Anyway I followed the manufacturers instructions, and it worked like a charm. Here are some pics
