Last year when I had my R1 I put MEZ4 tires on because Martin, one of the R1 forum members, tried them and got good mileage and performance. I intend to put them on my H. Anyway, Martin just posted this note to me on the R1 forum and I thought I'd pass it along.
Sherm - MCN (UK mag) has a 'busa on long term test and this week......
"two rears and one front chewed in 4000 miles . This time I've opted for
MEZ4.. Slightly narrower than the bridgestone. The profile is shallower
too, which makes the bike a bit easier to turn..... This bike is deceptively
easy to turn on them. A good thrashing following a police rider friend
later that evening scrubbed them all the way across, but while a ride of
that intensity would have left the bridgestones feathered up, the cooler
running MEZ weren't even marked. So I suspect they'll last a lot longer
then the B's."
