Hello all, me again!
Well, after scratching up enough money to finally take my 99 Busa to the most reputable shop in the area to get my PC3 tuned on Monday 2 Nov. 09. I got a phone call from them on Tuesday, I was hoping they was calling me to come and pick her up, but, this was not the case.
They were calling to tell me that while they were trying to get a good base map on her and up to about 50% throttle, they started to hear a loud knocking from the motor.
They are guessing that I threw a rod and are now investigating.lease: They say that if I threw a rod, they would basically have to rebuild the motor...$1625 just for Labor/ no parts!
So, it looks like, my $200 job is gonna turn out to be about a $2000 job! I am waiting on the diagnosis today, so, if any of you know of someone getting rid of a good motor, please let me know!
Thanks
