What can I do to get the vibration out of my mirrors (2003)? They're basically useless at any speed. Is it just my bike? I have added the 1 inch spacer and that made no difference ( I can see better sitting still!).
Are you talking about the buzzing sound? If you are, remove the wind screen and put electrical tape on the bottom tabs to build it up for a tighter fit.
well crap. I just trade in a 01 gsxr 1000 for this bike and the mirrors were much clearer.......but, I'm not going to let a little mirror buzz stop me from enjoying the Busa.......Thanks!
I don't know if it will help or not but you could try putting something like a rubber gasket between the mirror base and the fairing. Just make sure it not something that will hold water.

Did you read my last post? Pull the windscreen off. On the bottom there are tabs that hold it in place. Take electrical tape and build those tabs up with a few strips. This will stop the buzz. It just makes for a tighter fit.
I guess I need to re-read the post FATJAP. Yep, I have vibration through the fairing not the windscreen - no buzzzing. Stabilizing the fairing (holding it with my hand) stops the mirror shake - now is there a racing fairing brace available?
I had it too and when I posted last year the guys sent out alot of help.
I just pulled the windscreen, put tape on the bottom tabs and no more buzzing.
It did anoy the piss out of me the first few days.
make sure the mirrors are tight first, my right one was loose, i don't have that much of a vibration problem with my mirrors. and my bike does see top speed pretty frequently!
