I`ll check into that..don`t know they may have had some type of price increase...they were definetly 3.65 aquart a few weeks ago..I also saw where someone else on list bought it for that.

Has anyone purchased from REX? I was quoted $33.60 per 6 pack making it $5.60 a Qt. I have seen posts here stating it can be had for $3.65 per Qt. Do I need to talk to someone in particular?

I purchased the Mobil 1 motorcyle oil from Rex Oil Co. for $21.90 for a six pack ($3.65/qt). With the shipping it came out to $30.65 ( a little over $5/qt). Better than paying $7.00/qt at Autozone.

Anyone else lives out in california? A group of us is interested in getting the oil too. but I'm not sure how much shipping would be. maybe we can do a group buy. I called Rex Oil before too, $33.xx for six pack. he said it could be cheaper if we buy a pallet, but a pallet is like 100+ cases.

Doesnt hurt for me to try to get the oil....Last time I checked, Mobil one was only being sold through Autozone, for some marketing reason....(Who would go looking for motorcycle oil in an autoparts store?).....I can check anyway, and see if I can pull some strings....VegasDude, I am leaving town for a week, but I will keep on posting from Calif......

OK I got the scoop today on the oil prices...The oil was 3.65 a quart until the last shipment came in...it is now 33.60 a 6-pack.The reason for the price increase was that Rex had made a error in the pricing and was selling it at a bulk rate....and they only caught it when they reordered. They said at this moment quarts is the only way to get it but have been promised it would be available soon in 1 gallon, 5 gallons and 55 gallons. The price will drop again dramatically when the bulk containers are available. I will notify the board when that happens and with the price...they were very sorry for the problem everyone was having. Its still not a bad deal just not as good as it once was.... wish I had of stocked up more than I did...
