I changed my oil and filter this Saturday. I used the Mobil 1 MX4T 10W-40. I waited until I had about 4,000 miles on the clock before I switch to full synthetic (I'm the cautious type). It only took me 2 months to get to 4,000 miles so the wait wasn't bad.
As for the Mobil 1 MX4T 10W-40. What a difference. This stuff is great. I used it in my ZX-11 and loved it and it has provided the same results in my Y2K Hayabusa.
Much smoother shifting
Cooler engine temperature
Smoother running engine
Quieter engine
The cost is a bit outrageous, but what can I say...Motorcycling is my hobby, and you know how we guys can blow money on hobbies. I've found that you can get a case (6) for about $45 bucks delivered to your door from REX Oil Company http://www.rexoil.com/index.html
That's my 2 cents!
