Mobil1 Clean 5000 red cap

Even though it's listed as car oil under the FAQ section at www.mobil1.com , it's offically ok to use it in motorcycle engines??

but mobil doesn't list goldcap as "officially" as motorcycle safe.

You are better off using a motor oil that is formulated for diesel engines instead of that formulated for auto car engines because the additive package of the diesel oils closely match that of true motorcycle oils. I use Castrol Tection Extra 15w-40 that is on sale sometimes for $5 a gallon.

Yes I have did 2 changes on my 05LE with Mobil one red cap ,the owners manual says with SF or SG requirements and Mobil one red cap meets one of those,I dont want to go to the garage right now or would tell ya which one SF or SG. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL
