Mods before break in

I have not even ridden it and I am already hooked on the mods. Can changing the exhaust, PCIII, removing PAIR, etc be done without voiding the factory warranty?

Also is there a better breathing airbox that can be purchased rather than cutting (shiver) the original. Same with the Undertail, cutting away with a dremmel on a new bike just does not seem right. (Hayabusa must be Japanese for money pit)

Internet over here stinks otherwise I would figure out how to search. Soon I will be back in the land of the big PX.

Nope, i did all my mods (except the PCIII and the map) for it before i even put 1 mile on the bike including paint. I never rode it stock, not even once

Changing only external things should not void the warrenty. That said it would depend on just what your warrenty claim might be. There has to be a DIRECT Connect from your change to the problem your claiming should be repaired or replaced by the warrenty to cause a Warrenty Void.

Stealership did mine, headers and PCIII, don't know about the pair valves or the marble mods...I don't think its internal thou...

If you have mods done by the dealership they will typically cover under warranty since they did the work. Make sure you give this dealer your maintenance service for the first year or they may try to stick it to ya.

I made major mods to my bike and the dealer covered the warranty work (they still get paid)...You need to ask the dealer just in case your not cool with them then you'll know for sure...

4 into 1 exhaust and pcIII installed by dealer, warranty covered.
