Mod's to the exhaust require programming?

Just curious is slip-ons or full exhaust are an install and you're done, or do you then have to add a programmer? I'm not one that cares about more power, just want less weight and a bit more wound from the pipes.
thanks in advance jt

slip-ons: stock ECU is able to compensate
full: best to get an aftermarket air filter then a tune via PC or ECU flash

Hi mate how do you get a a tune up from the ecu ? I am going to add my pc3 and have had the K&N filter TRE and also had to end cans added and my bike is popping and making banging noises when i ride so it does need a set up. I am still new to this but have had a dyno on a k3 GSXR 750 but as i live in London i need to ride 134 miles to the place i got it done as i dont know about the place here London and if they are any good.
