Episode Guide/Car Specs
Episode 58: Peel Trident Micro Car

Monster Garage fans know Christian "Body Drop" Artiaga well — he's the shop employee who runs parts for the build teams.

Well, this time around, Body Drop is doing more then running errands. Yes, sir. This time he's part of a team comprised solely of fellow "little people" charged with taking a 1964 Peel Trident — an obscure miniature car from the Isle of Man — and replacing the drivetrain with a racing go-kart as well as installing a turbocharged four-cylinder motorcycle engine.

Can the "little" build team complete the micro-monster? Or is this mountain of a molehill too much for them to tackle? See for yourself when Peel Trident Micro Car premieres on Monday, March 14, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Then, be sure to come back here for pictures and specs of the car and an interview with Body Drop after the show.

Cool, Speaking of Bike powered cars, I spent a couple hours watching some Legends Cars Cut laps at the local track. Sweet little cars... Get my gears turning.

PLease tell me they didn't tear open a busa to get the motor? Took one out of a pranged Busa?

Yeah I worried about that too, since their computer animated mockups sowed the pulling it from one, but the actual engine was a salvage.

The thing was absolutely insane to look at... this giant... bubble... thing... with a hi-perf gocart frame under it and the busa's engine on the thing.

If it had run, I'm curious as to what speed it would have hit before becoming airborne and shooting midget-bits all over southern california...

i think it was going to fail no matter what! did you see those skimpy motor mounts?
a go-cart frame + busa powerplant + a turbo, doesn't add up!
i think mr. james just wanted to shoot his big gun again......
