I think i found my new favorite road here in So Cal.. Hwy 33 was nice but i think this beats it by far...not many cars and saw one cop assisting in a accident.... Hoot hoot loved it

That is a fantastic road for sure -- I've ridden it many times. But the real treat is to go on the first Saturday of March. That's when the Southern California Antique Motorcycle Association has its spring meet at the Borrego Springs Resort. They're there from Thursday through Sunday but the best day is Saturday. There's usually 80 to 100 antique bikes in attendance -- everything from early 1900's to the 1970's. They all run and they get ridden! And the people are very friendly and informative. It's my favorite ride every year.

I have an Aunt and Uncle in Escondido.
I remember an Angio Berrego desert(not sure on the spellling)through the mountain headed NE from San Deigo.
