Hello Guys,
Well, i'm going to be moving up to an airtech tail in the next month or so, so i'm preparing all the parts and pieces I would like to do while taking the time to make everything perfect. I've got a battery tender and have been considering putting a few battery terminal connections in the fiberglass tail so i can charge between rounds and while the bike is parked in the garage without having to remove the seat to access the battery.
There lies the question; I want to put remote battery terminals in the race tail so i can do so. I've found the moroso 74155 kit that includes flush mount, plug in style remote terminals (ideal for asthetic value). Has anyone every used this? If so, how large are the terminals, and what gauge wire are these plugs going to use? Its designed for automotive use so i'd imagine it's 2ga which is probably larger than i'd like to use, as i would be cutting the plug off my battery tender and switching to this set up.
Moroso 74155 Moroso Quick Disconnect Battery Cable Connectors
I'm very detailed oriented and i like the idea of having easy access for a charger. any background experience is great before i pull the plug on a $100 terminal kit ha. no pun intended
Thanks guys!!
