Mothers Day Menu

Dan and Diana always seem to inspire the Sunday meal, so, I thought it would be interesting to see what everyone had on the menu for today.

This is the first family gathering at our new house, and for the menu today:

Fried Chicken, tobasco in the buttermilk makes finger likin good.

Mashed potatoes with home made gravy

corn

dinner rolls and honey

tossed salad with sliced egg and black olives

deviled eggs, I love these with crushed red pepper sprinkled on top

Fried catfish and fries for dad.

Hmmm...I had a piece of left over Pizza from last night and a chocolate chip cookie. Still waiting for Jefferycarman to think of something for dinner. Not sure what I want. If he has to cook, he can choose. Makes it even easier for me. :-)

Steak (I grilled); Corn on the cob; Shells/cheese (my daughter); salad, Vanilla bean Ice Cream for dessert. Oh yeah, and I did all the cooking and cleanup too. Today was also my daughter's 8th birthday!

I just got the kitchen cleaned up. Wow, everyone got full and I had only a few left overs, must have done something right.
