with all the changes this year i cant wait for the first race on 03/09. rossi finally seems to have a tyre he likes. lorenzo is flying. ant west, after a lot of test time on the kawi could be strong(hes crazy, i love it). hayden (for some reason) cant get any respect. pedrosa's still a *itch. and stoner on the duc will be strong again. hate hopper jumped from zuk but interested to see what he can do. vermulin will have to come through strong for the zuk to do anything. capparossi is good but past his prime.
sorry so long winded but man, i'm stoked
i think rossi is going to kick a** if his tyres hold up this year. that jab "little danny" took at him with the #2 plate and all is probably just the motivation he needed(like he needed any more after the past 2 years). he is a beast in the corners, with the right tyre. just ask biaggi

I think Rossi can put it up to Stoner this year and it should be a good battle. But they need to have an argument early in the season to make it interesting. Everyone else is either 2nd class or doesnt have the bike.Pedrosa, Capirossi can only do it half of the time.I don't think Hayden is so good, and he only won the world championships 2 years ago due to other riders bad luck. Melandri will be one to watch on the Ducati this year.

I've noticed the last few years that Rossi hasn't made an enemy out of anyone, and he hasn't been performing 100%. Previously he had started arguments with Biaggi and Gibernau and that gave him the extra drive that he needed to win well. If you look back in GP history some of the best battles were between riders who hated one another. Take Barry Sheene and Kenny Roberts in the 70s(even though they turned out to be great friends later). A lot of riders need an enemy to make them go faster. And it makes it more interesting for us.

Now......wouldn't it be interesting if Rossi or Hayden gave Dani a smack in the mouth............that would start the season off well methinks.....

I love your analysis! Hey, even though I get the SPEED E-newsletter, I haven't noticed anything about the "under the lights" possibility @ Qatar....anybody got any info? Raydog

heck for me i just ready to get my big azz there on sundays and watch GP ,AMA ,FIM anything with two wheels

i hope the yamaha has the speed to keep up with the duke this year or stoner will runaway with it again. hope nicky does well as i love his ballsy sliding the arse end out style...a real shame electronics is starting to deny us the beautiful sight of great riders rear wheeling it out of the bends...get shut of traction control please.
think marco and hopper will need a year of racing thier new machines before we see the best of them....although marco can always do something special if he gets his head on....could be right up there at the end of the season....dani..well just a miserable little git who doesn't deserve his ride in my opinion...not through lack of skill but his shitty attitude and of course being a brit i'll be cheering on our wsb world champ james toseland in his first year of motogp

really looking forward to this season like never before after last years big let down..roll on donington park in june to be trackside
