Has anyone experienced a motor vibration at 4,500 rpm? Suzuki tells me its normal because its a plain bearing motor??

Spot on at 90ish.... reminds me that I might be speeding, kind of a built in radar detector....

Run that range for about 2 hours yesterday and found that out. I will be looking into carbon fiber bars to dampen the grip vibs.

that or heavier bar ends should work, liquid bar snake is also suppose to help. There are four rubber dampers on the OEM 06 triple clamps. I am adding another smaller set of dampers to mine. Also throw a couple of extra rubber washers on the front tank mount bolts near the triple clamp, seems to help.

I too have this vibrations ... and yes at 90 in 6th its very noticable.

Has anyone investigated if its damaging to the motor to run in the 4600-4900 rpm range for an extended length of time? Such as when you're on the open interstate and everyone else on the road is doing 90mph too.

It worries me to run it in that "Vibratory" range for a long time.

But then, I haven't had my wife on the back at 90mph. She might like that vibration ...

Mine got ALOT worse after the K&N. Even my girl on the back said something after the first ride, and we had not ben on it in five months!

suzuki did this for a reason.............................

it is the warning to let you know you are about to go to warp speed
