I can't see that huge box on the back of the 'wing being very fun to drag around...the trailer makes a lot more sense...
1,100+ pounds on two wheels before you even sit on it! I’ve seen some very nice (and) heavy touring motorcycles in 11 states and I’ve never seen a sport bike pulling a 2 wheel trailer nor have I ever seen such a huge box on a Wing or any other bike. To me, both are ridiculous endeavors. I’ve been on those roads (except for the dead end snow covered dirt road) and the winds they endured are indeed vicious even w/o that top heavy box or that trailer. What did the trailer weigh? Saw a pic of a Wing pulling a trailer with a dirt bike on it once. That must be a rare sight. Single wheel trailers look pretty cool and I’ve heard that they follow better than tandems. Space for stuff has to be the only reason for such large capacity storage containers even if the rider was planning on staying off the grid for some time. I don’t see the enjoyment of motorcycling that way.

Actually seen a similar setup at Myrtle Beach bike week...Harley pulling a sportbike one year.
