Motorcycle Tie-Down Bar

Looks like a good idea as long as the pin that goes into the steering tube is strong enough. I guess if the front wheel is pinned down it doesn't matter that the bars are not kept from turning.

that looks iffy to me.. I would just soon use straps to hook right on the end of the bars.

Check out "Canyon Dancer" great product similar concept but in web strap and tons cheaper. I have one . Took my stuff to Florida from NY and no problems. Also got mine on Ebay . Good luck.

I agree. It didn't look truly stable and for that price I just can't see it! Just wanted to see what others thought! Thanks, everyone!

Well i think he needed ba better pic but i think it would work out pretty good cause it dose have a way to hook and stableize on the handle bars also granted i think his price is a bit steep i'll just stick with a canyon dancer for now and build something similar to that in my shop and see what it's like

I use a canyon dancer and am more comfortble with the stability across the bikes own handle bars.

I'm curious to know if there are similar attachments for rear straps?

I've got a bar harness that I use and like and I just ordered the Yoyodyne frame sliders so I can attach straps to them. I'm just looking for other ways to strap the bike down that won't scratch/scuff fairings and will adequately secure the bike.

I like the Canyon dancersas well, but the damn thing does not prevent the straps from rubbing on the fairing and removing paint. I just drove from Dayton to Vegas with the dancer on my Busa and I will need to get it painted really soon. Stability is by far the best, ut I would ove to strap y bike and not have to worry about scratches and sh!t.

When I transported mine from NC to KS I put white towels between the straps and the fairings to prevent damage. Hopefully the Yoyodyne sliders will prevent me having to do that.

Yeah, those sliders are sweet! When I use the danser on my trailer, it doesn't rub but, I have seen one that did. Something about the attatchment point being closer to the bike than mine.

The Yoyodyne sliders work great! No issues transporting the bikes from KS to TX.
