MR BEAR WADS COPPER BUSA-CRESTLINE

Yesterday, fathers day, I stopped at the "Rock Store" on my copper 99 busa. A guy approaches me regards the LABUSAS.

Ir is Ducmanic, in person, a real nice guy, nothing like the "flamer-poster", guess screen names offer too much latitude about attitude!

Duc tells me mr. Bear wadded his almost new copper 99 busa on the crest, at least $6,000.00 damages. Bear is hurt, but not hospitalized;

I'm sure, even if he has falmed you, he could use some support and direction about healing and fixing the bus.

apperently he was wearing good equipment, likely saved his a**!

Duc said it looked like a high side...

either going to fast, or panicked and over braked,

I believe it was a left sweeper, high sided guard rail, bike pogoed!

good-bye bus!

Update; Accounts of the death of the Burns copper Busa have been greatly exaggerated. It is under repair, as am I. Surprisingly, it suffered no structural damage, all cosmetic. Steering stops are untouched, for example.

Alan, thanks for the kind wishes, if that's what they were. "Good bye Bus!"...hope that wasn't gloating of some sort. I was lucky, all things considered, my bike and I came through it well enough to ride together again. It, and I, will be back soon.

Yo Bear:

thanks for the update, sounds like you know better ... unfamiliar, dangerous road...

and it seems luck was with you, not too much damage, and you are basically o.k.

now, can you learn form it

and,

prevent the next over-sight???

happy healing

Yo Haya:

thanks for the direction, read your comment, agreed!

Hey Mr. Bear. I'm happy to read you're relatively unhurt by the whole experience.(no hospital stay, limbs all in one piece)

If we haven't learned by now then you taught us. I hope we all, especially me, can take advantage from your experience and postings.

Godd luck on future rides and in your case keep it on two wheels. :)

ciao
