Did you guys hear Bert got out of a major speeding ticket? Only 90 in the 70? The CHP showed him a picture of a ZX 9 he owns, and told him that was why he wasnt going to jail for 140ish in the 70mph.

Does he have a ZX-9? I only saw the Busa. Well it's a good week for Bert. Got out of a major ticket, and got a new job at Ft. Irwin. He said he was helping me get my bike from Wrightwood because he figured it was good for his Karma. Glad to see it's working out!

If I read you right FC, it sounds like you are getting into department SOP. That probably varies from place to place.

Guys, as it turns out, I have a wedding to attend on Sat. 27, soooo, I will go to the Motorcycle show on Sunday the 28th, I had the dates crossed.
Mr. Bear, if possible, can you bring "those pictures" of yours when we meet next? I can scan them and post them for "show and tell".

For some reason I had the idea the LB show was this weekend. Maybe I hit my head after all. I'm fine, the bike's okay, and I'll be there next weekend. I'll bring the rock I hit that put me down on Wrightwood/ Highway 2, for show-and-tell. Thanks for being concerned, see you there!!
Pete, I read on the other thread where Waltman got you a little bit insulted with a quip about being stuck in front of a computer monitor or something. I wanted to vouch for him. I think he meant to poke some fun at himself, share some common misery with you, you know. I think that's the humor he intended. It didn't come out quite right. But you seem like one of the cooler guys on this site, and I can say from having met him Waltman is one of the coolest guys you'd ever meet. Hope we all get together sometime!
