MR9 vs MR11

We asked this question a couple months ago and no one had done any comparison testing yet...so I'll ask again now and see if anyone knows. What's the difference between MR9 and MR11?

I know MR11 is newer and every one says maaaaan wait till you try some, but no one can actually explain the difference if there is any.

Funny thing though...can't find MR11 around here, but over towards the coast I've been told they can't find MR9.

Brock's has a big write up on it on their site.. Both great fuels, just basically an octane difference between them..

MR9 is 87 octane

Brock says virtually no other difference including actual performance between the two.. He says that the 11 is a better option for the late model (08's etc) bikes with the increased compression...

Do you have to re-map the ecu to run MR11 or can you just put it in your tank and go?

You'll need a remap because it's oxygenated fuel.

I did not have too. When we mapped just plan gas then dumped tank and put the mr9, then we redynoed it it was prefect. no changes needed.
