Took a MSF experienced rider course yesterday. Got some good info. Well worth the money. However did see a guy in our class drop his bike. Graped a little to much front brake.

Good stuff! Even is someone has been riding for decades... i feel that you can ever have enough training.

Recommendaton: Use their bikes if they offer them; if you drop one, you don't feel so bad...

This will be the first year in the past 5 I won't get to some form of rider training course. You always learn something new.

They have them around here all summer. Sometimes it's a year waiting list. I would love to take one just to learn more

sportcustoms71, tell your wife good luck

Not sure how it is for other bases/services but here in Camp Pendleton, they no longer provide "loaner" bikes (due to liability issues). I take all required classes (BRC, ERC, etc.) every chance that I am eligible for one.

I have never been on any sort of training ever, other than riding with good riders and learning from them.

The closest I have ever been to MSF is when we went woods riding, there was an experienced MSF instructor with us. I was on my Husky, there were a few KLR's a few Honda's and the instructor was on a big KTM. We had a blast, but everytime we hit the mud, we had to wait for the MSF Instructor, because he would get off his bike and throttle while walking next to his bike through the mud.

If I can get my calendar sorted out though, I will do some track day training classes soon.
