Much Respect.....

to all the real Busa riders out there. If I learned anything from this weekend, it was this...Just because I can ride really fast on a flat surface does not mean I can ride my Busa. Yall taught me alot and I met some phenominal riders this weekend. It was an awesomely scarey experience for me....think I would rather ride my snowboard down a black diamond than ride that Dragon again. After one episode of bursting into tears, I made it down the dragon and earned my sticker......I have a new found respect for all you "real" busa riders....Maybe if I practice enough by next year I will be able to get above 10 miles per hour on the Dragon....It was great to meet all of you!!!!!:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

I had a great time this year and you and Dino were a part of that. I followed you to the Dam from the CROT and you did a great job. :thumbsup:

PS you are a " Real Busa " rider

No problem, everyone has to learn sometime. you are smart in taking your time to deal with the corners. the Dragon is a very intense road, no time for gawking around, total focus on the road and other riders is needed. this time next year you will be much improved. remember you did not add any parts to the tree of shame :thumbsup: I hope to ride the busa on the dragon in the future. i have ridden the dragon 3 times, once at night, on a harley ultra, 2 up. the big bike handles quite well considering it weighs over 800 lbs, isn't geared right, and has only about 2500 to 3000 usable rpm range. just keep riding and practicing what you have learned and next year will be much better :beerchug:

Glad Dino got you to ride it!!!! It will come to you in time. If you want more help with getting to the busa..... Get Dino and I togehter and I will get you on some of the more curvy roads around here. But you made it and had fun!!!! Shiney side up.....Rubber side down!

:thumbsup:

Definitely don't beat yourself up Vanessa!! You did more than I ever even tried on my first trip to the Bash; I parked at CROT and waited for everyone to make their runs :laugh:

I bet you'll run it again one day and it does get easier to maneuver, but even if you don't, you did it, there are GREAT roads all around and I hope you'll go again :thumbsup:

Had a great time with you and Steph :beerchug:

you did great!! you rode your own ride and i bet if you are honest with yourself, you will admit you are a better rider today than you were a week ago...that is what the Bash is all about- having a great time, improving your skills, meeting new people, and hanging out with old friends...it was great to meet you and Dino and i'm looking forward to the next time :beerchug:

Relax Trollkin, you DID FINE, it was a pleasure taking you out on your first run in the area, you didn't do as bad as you think.

EVERYBODY flakes a little the 1st time didin't you:whistle::laugh:

You're good to go, Steph will teach you the rest, just have a little confidence in yourself, cause you've earned it...you did great, were all proud of you

I was just talking to a co-worker (also a busa owner) and told him I learned so much about riding this past week and definately feel more confident on these nice flat roads in VA!!

Thanks Angel!!! Boobies back at YA!!!

Every journey begins with just one step, congrats for being level headed and controlling yourself! Many riders that have had their parts hung on that funky looking tree don't have the same sense. :thumbsup:

Remember how scary your riding exam was? It is natural to feel this way and the fact that you made it through with no mishaps let's everyone know that you have control of your machine and know your riding abilities. You will become better with time and experience.

The worst part of the exam was the figure 8!! The dragon is like the figure 8 over and over and over again... Thanks for the boost of confidence!!
