Muffler mount

After some searching on the Yosh web site I found my part. All I had to do was get the new section of pipe and the hanger.

It moves the muffler up higher and also requires the removal of the turn signals. I
was able to remove the passenger foot pegs (one of my wishes). I'm really not happy with the turn signals I have now (quick fix), so I'll start the look for better units.

Jeff at waltmans site there is a shot of Marty Kanes Busa with a plate bracket and turn signals that looks real sharp. Marty said his friend that made it would make others take a look it could be a solution.

Did you get the section in Ti or SS ?

The section that I replaced was ti, so I got ti ($340). The bracket was only $8.

I do think the hi mount looks much better, and the lack of passenger foot pegs also looks good.

I'll go have a look at the site, I need a better solution for the turn signals.

Jeff, looks darn good indeed.
So with the Yosh pipe the high mount works just as well as the low mount?
I'm asking because most of the high mounts I've seen only work for a specific variant of an exhaust by the same manufacturer.
If the Yosh one is in fact "generic" and can be used basically with whatever exhaust that normally uses the stock mount at the pegs, this would be a good thing IMHO.

I had the low mount exhaust, to make it a hi mount I orderd a new section (that was the $340) of titanium pipe. The new bracket does place the muffler mount in about the same place as the stock bracket with foot pegs.

I wanted to remove the passenger foot pegs, so most people will not want this type of exhaust.

My new slogan is "less is more", less weight I have, the more fun it becomes to ride.

Jeff the cleanest look I have seen yet for rear plate and signal lights is the Benelli 900 Tornado. Maybe its time for some aluminum tubing annodized black.

Jeff any problems with your right heel hitting the new pipe section while riding?

Yes my foot does hit the exhaust from time to time. This will be eliminated when yosh makes a new rearset. Should move the foot peg up and back.

I have fit a fender(Comp Werks 750) elim. kit on the busa for now:
