Multiple mails ?

In my mail options on the board, I have
"Receive only one notification of a new post between visits to the subscribed topic?"
Checked, but I am still getting a notification for every post made to a topic. Am I doing something wrong here ?

The box is still checked ( as noted in original post )
Maybe a mod could confirm I am doing the right thing ?
