I made my UFO undertail taillight with 122 red 20000mcd LEDs. Everything works 100% on it, BUT it's hard as hell to find a LED integrator so you can combine your brake lights and signals like I want. I don't know if anyone else has tried to find one of these things, but VERY few companies make them. I actually had a BadLands one on order from Dennis Kirk and they called to tell me that they won't be available till mid June, so I told them to cancel the order. Not to mention it costs $100 for one versus $11 for a typical trailer integrator from Wal-Mart.
So I got to thinking on alternate ways to do this. I knew I could do it solid state with relays, just didn't know how many it would take. I figured out the schematic on it and kept having to use 6 standard automotive SPDT relays. After racking my brain for an hour, I finally figured out how to do it with only 4.
Here's 2 links to relays and sockets for them to do it at only a cost of $18!

Below is the schematic I drew of how to wire a set together for one side of your brake light. Just repeat it for the other side. This will work with LEDs AND it will work with regular incadescent bulbs so if you ever swap to LED bulbs later it'll still work properly
