Worked so hard to find the limit on these meats..just awsome. Corner speed is unbelievable........Ok so 330 miles ate one millimeter off the center
part of the tire. I must be the luckiest rider around...Faced off with highway patrol not once but twice.....today..chic on a cruiser passes me -so i Pace her for awhile.. just before i'm gonna turn off to Mammouth CA I go for it and pass her at 150 !!!!!!!!!! gps and meet a HP.. nothin'--happens.. then later i do 100 mph sweeper in a 65 and see um' major front breakage..
and again nuthi'n.The reason i went where i did today was to see if B&B was open in Benton CA. It was and i made reservations for wed night.  Also since i am a complete motor head nut, there
is an old rototiller engine there that i wanted.. brought tools.. unbolted it and put it in my tail trunk [givi bags] you have see before. 20 miles later i reach back and feel the bag bouncing around so bad -- this is nut's and dangerous.. so i find a place  to hide it in the woods....So wednesday we are taking my new 06 WRX to Benton and pick up the engine..
What a day and thankful to do this stuff at 57 years young........I took a bunch of pic's on a film type camera..gonna see if i can get them on a DVD.. AAhh Jager and beer now feeli'n good.

Congradulations and Happy Birthday !!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Watch out for the COPS"  They have a thing for Tendancy to Sneek Up on Ya in the Worst Possible Places

Except for our friendly leos on busas, who's going to "sneak up" on a busa?

Do you mean Mammoth Lakes CA. south of Yosemite? Here's a stretch of road with a guarantee of no LEOs. See the line in the distance? Can't remember now if its in CA or NV but its southeast of the Bishop and Mammoth Lakes area. The first pic is on the way to the road in the 2nd pic and you can go as fast as you want to...

Sorry I couldn't make that ride with you Pace............me and Mike are headed to Silver Lake this morning with brown bags in backpacks..............ahhhh yes, yes, retirement: 7 day weekends are the only way to go.
Note: The Benton turnoff is just south of Mono lake and north of Mammoth Lake, 46 miles of nothing but a jack rabbit or two. Pacemaster ran into the CHPs on hwy 395 before he turned off.

Thnx bigBS --gotta abit of a hangover --but here i type...It was an epic ride...would not have wanted to be on ANY other bike.. cept' mine.
