My bike progress..

Well i have most of the stuff done..
But i still have a little to go..
Finally got my scavenger pump plumed on the bike..i used earls new ultra hose, its about the same as the 350 but has wire braid in it..im really happy with the quality of this hose..



Here another pic of my scavenger pump..just got the fittings that go into the pump for a -8an line..they where really hard to find since its a british thread..and they were proud of them 38 dollars for 2 fittings

Hopefully ill get my gauges back tomorrow.. I had bluegauges do the leds in blue..and had them install my custom gauge faces will post pics when i receive them..
Well my dual fan mod is done, which was an easy mod..



I also installed a low profile breather cover.i drilled it out to accept an -8an fitting..

I installed hids by ddm tuning and a msd shift light..



I used soupys lowering links in the rear.. They are really a nice setup..they fit really nice even with the underbrace swing arm



I polished out the stock pegs which look really nice..and changes out the gear and shift levers...

Im just waiting on more parts to finish stuff.. I bought a guzzler fuel petcock but just waiting on how im going to finish putting all the fuel lines together..
The new kick stand i have im not sure if im going to install it or get a different one..

Looking good.Watch out with that stainless hose.It can poke the crap out of you fingers.I made hose up for my turbo car and even with black tape and a die grinder to cut it, it was still frayed and it hurt like hell pushing the fittings on.

Its not stainless, its some kind of black braid, but it has wire inside the hose so it dont collapse..i was going to get a stainless braid but didnt want to scratch everything up..im in the process of doing my fuel line i have the fittings for a pushlock hose but it does not like to go on the aeroquip hose i have..

I also removed my oil cooler because it was in the way of that second fan..it was a pain because i have a oil filter relocation kit that puts the oil filter in a 90 so u can get to it..but really hard to take that mount off with the exhaust on but finally got the mount off so i could take that restricter out..i also installed a billet oil filter



After i get most of everything done,off to the paint shop for the body work..easy paint scheme all black with chrome graphics..im waiting on stainless bolts to see how im going to mount my bar end mirrors..im still not sure on what i need to adjust on the rear tire.. The tire been rubbing the chain..

Ya this kinda makes me want to change the color of my bike..i had my bike since 07-08 and i see this on ebay, i talked to the guy and he did all the work to his bike..but it looks like he had to see my bike and copy it..but he said they look different??? The first bike is mine then his..







Do u think this guy copied my bike??

Does anyone know about pushlock fittings can i use just 3/8 fuel line without any problem??

Ok new problem..went to install my guzzler fuel valve, got it all grinded out and guess what, the tank i guess from being chrome plated is starting to peal on the inside where it was factory sealed..it had some chips of it in the petcock filter..so i rinsed it out for about an hour and still chips coming out.. Even took it to the car wash..well theres a local place that will clean and seal it for 50 dollars, but he was not sure if it will peal the chrome..but thats the only choice i have..he said after he gets done it will never peal or anything..he said the ethanol in the fuel evaporates and causes the factory lining to peal off..thats sounds about right because only place it was pealed is at the top of the tank..so i guess i will have to wait and see how things turn out..

Ya if the tank peals during the clean and seal, im going to give it the trash can and start over..i would rather start over with a fresh tank to get all redone, i guess i would have to coat the inside first then get the tank chromed..
Well was taking the rest of my plastic off and i have a broken fender..on of the back tabs is completely gone..so thats getting trashed..
