I wanted to tidy up the rear, but not a fan of the entire fender being removed. looks like its missing something when its completely removed.
so i experimented some and i like the outcome....
what i did was take off the angle bracket that was holding the plate on the fender. i then cut the bottom part of the fender off with a dremel and cleaned the edge up. then took the angle bracket and moved it up in the recess that is on the fender under the license plate light. then i rotated the angle bracket 180 degrees and drilled 2 mounting holes in the fender. there is a little plastic left behind the plate for support.
totally cleans up the rear end of the bike while still retaining some fender look!
