That’s cool! Now if someone could make spacers for the gen3 mirrors. lol! I still find them useless. I thought that was getting fixed on the gen3 and I wouldn’t need spacers like on my gen2.

What is a mirror spacer

Yes, an excellent idea for the 2022 through 2024 year models would be ideal. I have a set for my 2005 and I've never regretted putting those on. Makes all the difference in the world.

I loved the ones on my 2009 but, after taking a close look at the gen3, it was obvious they were not compatible so I left them on the gen2 when I sold it. My gen3 has me wishing there was a similar solution for it.

Extend the base of the mirrors so you are not looking at your elbows every time you try to look through them.

Oh, now I see.

But I think it is difficult.

If u look at the structure of our gen3 mirror

The two m6 bolts is fixed at the bottom of the mirror.
If u add a thick spacer like the one unjust posted. It won't be longer enough.

Also, on the opposite side, when u install fjem, u need two nuts.

Yeah, we would need some sort of extension that’s female on one side and male on the other to extend those bolts.

Whomever makes the extension would have to engineer the countersunk female M6. It could be done with M6 aluminum shank. The female would fit in the extension and be just long enough to protude the male thread like the factory ?. Where's Del ?.
