Sweet bro, I bought my truck with the intention of getting one of these. But my plans are going to have to wait. Nice hauler. :beerchug:

Very sweet~!~

Have you pulled it on a trip with that 2500 yet~?~ Gooseneck/5th wheel hitch will help out a lot.

just pulled it home which was about 30 miles. never pulled a 5th wheel before so that was a learning curve. Also, I live on the very top of a huge hill. the trailer was around 8500-9000 pounds and my truck was DYING getting it up that hill lol. I have a pic of our driveway ill post up.

I will be taking it to Reno for the stampede. ~500 miles.

Nice, I figured it would be a bit heavier than that...I estimate mine about 10,000 lbs loaded with 3 bikes and full wet and it's not quite the length of yours.

Watch your EGT's on the truck and open that exhaust up to keep the temps safe

EDIT: if 8500-9000 is your empty weight then that makes sense. Wait until you get her loaded down

So yeah here is a section of my driveway and I took the pic from where the trailer sat

I think it is 8300 dry but it had some water in it. 15,400 is max. 16,400 is my trucks max.

I have a Banks bundle in mind for the performance. and maybe some bags or leaf helpers on the back because it squatted quite a bit with the trailer on it.

Ok, I'll be captain obvious:laugh:...now you need a diesel! And, nice trailer.

Or is it a diesel and still struggling????

That should work out good for you. Displays with the HP packages are a huge plus...that way you can monitor your temps for Exhaust, Tranny, etc better.

If you have an option go for one with safety defuel levels. That way it'll deprogram and/or deaccelearate if you reach an unsafe level on any monitored unit until the level is within margins again.

Just something to think about

It is a Duramax Diesel. Im not sure what the grade is of my driveway but killerrudy might know.

Going down the freeway @ speed my truck had no issues. just going up that hill lol.

Get a power programmer, open the exhaust, and get some air bags for the rear springs and she will do just fine.

I can't tell, that's why I was asking:laugh:
A friend of mine put a Banks sixgun on his F250 diesel...wow, unbeliveable difference!

Yeah it's too small to read. Those programmers really don't add much to a gas engine. They really give a diesel a kick in the gut with spurs~!~

Banks Power | 04-05 Chevy/GMC - 6.6L Duramax LLY>>Six-Gun® Bundle
This is what I am going with. for 2200 bucks, though, it might take a while lol.

You will not belive it's the same truck with that...really!!!

Yeppas, will be like driving a different truck

PS: I went with 5000lb air bags on one of my trucks as someone else mentioned...I can say they have worked out well so far. I had the front end re arched with a leaf added but they also sell bags for the front with an on board air system.

Sorry, I know we got more into talking about the truck than the hauler
