I installed some side-carriers with hard luggage recently, and while looking at them, I had a simple idea for another camera mount. Thought I'd share it here.
It's no Pashnit setup, but hey...
Do what you can with what you have, I always say.
I have some transparent duct tape over the lens area, in case some 1 in a million flying pebble decides to attack the camera.
Does anyone know of some simple solution to protect the lens?
I usually have the camera installed on the center of the handlebar, so the bike was protecting the camera, here the camera is out in the open, so it's risky(er).
P.S.: If you place the camera facing backwards, you'll notice how 75% of speeding cars slow down to a legal speed... funny how that works, isn't it?
