Shawn and I like to open our "clinic" at the Bash...and it will be nice to have him back, working on bikes with me...

I had to add a tool to my clinic to help out:

Nice Omar..i'm in the market for one of those. PM me with some details?

Cool, I guess I need to have that done, approaching 12k miles and I have never done that. But she still fires at the touch of a button and purrs like a kitty.

Always good to do - keeps the engine purring smoothly. If you'll be at the Bash - c'mon over. Michelle and I will be running a line and Shawn will too...

carbtune I or II? I was looking at buying one, where'd you decide to purchase from if you don't mind me asking...

Carbtune II. I bought it directly from Carbtune - over in the UK: http://www.carbtune.com/

Got the Pro kit - with the pouch to store everything in... About $100 and arrived in about a week or so.

Just ordered mine :beerchug:

In Jinkster's write up, he referencing making sure you stay below 4-5k because it would suck the mercury into the bike. Is there any similar danger with the carbtune? Did you just have it idling when you used it? I haven't seen the carbtune yet, so I am going off write ups thus far. TIA omslaw

I will say I got one of those due to not wanting to mess with the mercury, it uses
metal rods instead...my rods don't seem equal as in some stick a bit which
negates the whole thing, and doesn't seem as acurate as the fluid...
if I buy another, it'll be the mercury kind.
