Yesterday my dad, Richard (Sirjaymil), and myself all went riding. Richard had my Sony camcorder set up on his bike recording the road (and sometimes me).
Well, as we passed through the small town of Palmyra there is a large intersection with a stoplight. It was green and there was noone coming and we were just putting along (surprisingly UNDER the speed limit).
Suddenly I see this Toyota or Nissan come barreling up to the light, slam on the brakes, and then start to go right as I'm hitting the intersection. I swing wide and start to brake but the guy stopped before coming all the way out.
Now, the funny thing is he started to rant like I had done something wrong.
While the camera didn't catch that it does catch me, the green light, and the truck come flying up to the light and slightly through it. Then due to the narrow field of view the rest is cut off.
Was a close one.
Anyhoo. It was interesting to check out the video of me. Never watched myself hitting the curves before. Most of the time he is too far back to see what I'm actually doing but I did get some decent video of what the main roads I ride look like.
Grabbed a couple pics at the end of the day after my dad had split off to head to work.
And one large one.
