Neck Wringer

It doesn't matter where I am... this puppy twists more necks than I thought possible. From cruiser bike enthusiasts, to that other fellow rider that lies at the bottom of the food chain. Pedestrians and weekend warriors stare with this perplexed look... but they all ask the magic question, what is that??? And the most humble thing that comes to mind is to reply... "It's a Hayabusa." And, of course, the second question being a toss between "How many CC's? and How fast does it go?" And all you can do is point your finger to the rear emblem that spells "1300." End of discussion. All in all, it's a good thing... whichever way you look at it.

Yeah, lots of comments. I guy with a van pulled up beside me yesterday as I was heading out of town. He had his window rolled down, and I could hear him say something like "WOW, or AMAZING, or something like that." That was all he said.

Gas stations is the other place I get lots of comments.

One kid came over asking me lots of questions, just staring at the bike. He asked me what was a good first bike to get. I said "not this one. get a Suzuki SV650."

Another kid, yesterday, was staring at the speedo. It shows 350km/hr. He couldn't get over that.

Walked out of a McDonalds to find an old guy standing over my Busa. It turns out he was one of the first Pennsylvania Motorcycle Cops now retired. Nice guy. He asked where the speedo was. When shown the 220mph he said that he would have given me a ticket just for having the speedo. We had a good laugh over that one.
