Need a couple things. Some questions.

I am looking at the harness to add a switch to an extra fan for the cooling system on a Gen 1 Busa.
I do not know if I even have the stock connection to the harness because I don’t know which one it is. Regardless I really need this to get it back to stock fan control. As it sits now I have to turn on both fans and I’m very forgetful.

I also am looking to see if you have a plug in that would allow me to turn off the rear lights only by a switch. I’d like them to run normally but be able to turn them off while riding.

Wanted to ask before attempting to order from ya! Thank you.

I have the second fan wired to a switch. For some unknown reason the guy who had this before me took the original fan and put it on a switch as well but he didn’t leave it connected to the harness. I don’t know what the plug is. The one I thought it was was wrong. I’d rather see if Greg has something or can make one. I trust his work more than my own. By far.

I had my second fan wired with a switch for a while
never remember to switch it on

Had two temp sensors for a while one OEM and one the Honda one that turns on earlier

Had stand alone turn it on and off for a while

Finally wired a relay triggered off the first fan
I may need more information on said relay once I speak with Greg.

Stock gen1 fan switch connector looks like this and would be near the left sode of radiator, normally connects to the switch on the radiator

e.g. - "cut" the tail´s light ground wire (black + white line) with a simple 2-point-switch.

but

never forget to use the switch again - or you get hurt in the rear by an other vehicle at night.

oddly enough i tried this for someone once (show purposes), and it didn't work, appears the light was able to ground itself naturally. Had to wire a double pole switch to kill the 12v for tail and brake light.

I had it on my 87 FZ600 and used it several (many) times. I got chased on that bike every single time I went to myrtle beach. And it topped out around 130ish so they were like 25 minute chases. Lol. I was 18 and invincible. I actually remember falling asleep on that bike coming back at like 0400 after a weekend of partying. I stopped and took no doze.

I guess I don’t really need that as it won’t matter if I had a floodlight on, they won’t know where I went.
