Need a favor!!!

Let me start this off by saying that at this time I cannot explain why I am asking this favor. Hopefully by the weekend I will be able to and when I can I will. Also upfront I am not asking this for myself, I DO NOT need and/or want anything.

The favor is simply if you have kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews or any other special children in your life Please let them know that they are loved and special. Let them know that there is SOMEONE that they can talk to and someone that will be there for them no matter what occurs. If you can hug them! If you can't do that call them. Find a way to let them know.

Starting today my life and how I view the world has changed and not in a good way. It is amazing that you hear about things almost every day and just blow it off. But when it comes and slaps you in the face and there is NOTHING you can do about it it suddenly becomes very very real.

I guess you can probably tell it has been a very bad day for me and I AM the lucky one. At the earliest possible chance I will explain this post. I am very sorry to leave this hanging but it was something I just had to do!

Thanks guys a lot! It is in some ways not as bad as it sounds and in others a lot worse.

That is why I posted this. At some point we all need a kind word of support or some kind of show of humanity to bring things into perspective. I logged on here as soon as I got home and while trying to decide to post this or not I went surfing. One of the first posts I saw was the new on in General thanking Shawn (MC Mustang). This guy and others (Nitrous Junkie comes to mind) are constantly doing something no matter how trivial to help someone that more than likely except for cyberspace he does not know. To these people I say THANK YOU!!!!
This place is a oasis for a lot people to come in and just forget the day or vent or just simply unwind. I haven't met any one in person and don't get involved in a lot of threads but I am here constantly just reading. In a way I feel I know a bunch of the people here or at least can tell the kind of people they are. There are some DARN good folks here and I am proud to be a small part of it.
