interested in putting a dry system on my bike. i wanted to get some advice about brands and what to consider from you guys that know whats goin on. its a daily ride and im not wanting anything to crazy, thinking maybe a 30 shot... advice?

It costs alot of money to only go with a 30 shot! Do you have a power commander to be able to add fuel? If so then I would add the HUB with map switch so that you could switch to a richer map to run a little larger shot. Also consider a progressive controller to bring on the NOS gently.

Send a PM to Goldenchild . He installed mine and does good work at good $$$ .

yes i have a commander installed already and have been looking at the maps. theres a local dyno and im sure hed do some work for me if i got hung up.

are you saying i should go with somthing thatll add a bit more than 30 hp? reccomendations and what might i have to worry about breaking? what can my stock bike handle?

I am in the process of installing a 60 shot dry system, However I will be running a richer map, I have an air fuel meter to watch for lean conditions, as well as a progressive controller to ramp up the delivery of the NOS. The basic NOS kit isn't too much its all the add ons that cost $$$ It seems that most do a 40-50 shot, I went 60 with a progressive controller so that I can set it lower and move on up slowly. I will be taking my bike to HPC for dyno tuning hopefully this summer (if the wife will let me go) if not then next year. If you have a dyno tuner near you then I would use him, that way you will be able to pass more gas (NOS) saftely! I was told that anything above a 60 shot would require a second fuel pump and regulator for a wet NOS setup.

All basic dry systems are pretty much the same. It's just a bottle, solinoid, nozzle and some lines. Any of the basic kits will get the job done. With a small jet,say a .028 the only thing you would have to do is add some fuel.

If or when you want to step the jet up,some other mods will be required.

I have a no frills dynotune kit (the nozzle is just a brass elbow) on my other bike, and it works just fine.

Get with Daniel (GoldenChild) about a MPS dry system and an MPS fuel enricher.

I am just running the basic cheap Dynotune kit but I added a Power Commander hub to run a second map for spray and I run a Schnitz RPM window/throttle position switch for activation. Currently a 50 shot - works great.

I would use the ZEX set up, awsome stuff!

currently installing the zex kit myself. along with the dynotech lcd, the zex window switch and went with the NOS fan nozzle and jets instead of the zex nozzle. dont tell the wife, but i think i got about $750 tied up in it all. am i on crack?

the base dynotune kit will be fine for you, bump the fuel on the PC above 5k on the tach and have fun. Stay away from the NX dry kit, i had one and didn't like it. MPS sells a great kit but it is a little bit more expensive and is not going to give you a noticeable increase in power.
