i just took mine off yesterday..

loosened the six allen bolts for teh plastic.. loosened the 4 allen botls for teh brake caliper.. 2 on each side..

then loosened the left side (if you are infront of the bike) pinch bolts.. do not LOOSEN the right side.. then use a tool to unloosen the axle bolt.. then you can loosen the left side. then pop out the wheel rod (whatever its called.) when tightenting same thing but tighten left side first then put start tightening right side

good luck

Is it required to loosen the other pinch bolts if im just changing the tire and putting the wheel back on? Or can I just replace the axle the tighten the pinch bolts on the brake side that I loosened?

The way Ive always done it. Yup go ahead and tighten the axel to torque specs. Once thats taken care of. Put the calipers back on. Pump the brake a couple of times to get pressure back. Loosen the pinch bolts that are on the clutch side of the forks. So visually the front wheel is back on and torqued to spec with the calipers on. If you are using front and rear stands. Take the bike off the front stand only. Holding down onto the front brake, compress the forks up and down a couple of times. This helps to seat the axel. Tighten the pinch bolts on both sides. Viola your done.

OK, I know Im new to this. What is the reason for losening the clutch side pinch bolts after the axle is put back in since I never had to losen them to take the axle out. I'm not doubting you, just curious why it works that way.
